TN Legislature WLS

Has anyone heard anything concerning the TN legislature WLS? I have not heard anything new and was wanting to know. Also, there have not been many new postings in a few days... everybody on vacation?

Hey Rhonda! I have been wondering the same thing and was about to post a "WHERE IS EVERYBODY MESSAGE?!?!?!?" Anyways, about the TN Legislature WLS bill, I posted a message about that a couple days ago and as far as I know, they did not pass that bill into a law this past session which ended at the end of May. However, from what I can tell from the TN Legislature webpage, it doesn't look like the bill was denied either, I think it is still on the table for consideration but they must not have gotten to it this last session. It sucks, I know. I am waiting for it to be passed too. Do u know if they have a summer session? Or do we have to wait until they come back in January? God, I hope not cuz that bill was supposed to go into effect January 1st 2006. I guess we need to write to our reps and push for them to address and pass that bill!!! Tammy

THEY HAVE GONE OUT OF SESSION TILL JAN SEND EMAILS AND MAKE ALL THE CONTACT YOU CAN WITH YOUR REPS...... MAKE SURE THEY DONT LET IT SLIDE BETWEEN THE CRACKS NEXT SESSION

Yeah but that really sucks since I was so hoping that this wouldn't have been dropped. So it looks like another year tacked on to the three I have been waiting is just another one... lets hope things get better than worse than last year... and I will eventually be able to have this surgery...
