Does anyone know of a book written on WLS?

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any books that have been written on WLS? I think at this point for me I could use one to read. I think I have been over this board once and doing it again LOL. Got things togeather now just wainting on the registration fee for the Dr. Thanks a bunch Have A Great Day Everyone

Yes there are a few out there. Carnie Wilson actually has two that she did. I went to my library and did a search through their card catalog and found several. Hope this helps. *huggles*

hi deborah i read "A LIGHTER LOOK ...At A HEAVY SUBJECT". By Terry Simpson, MD before my surgery. it was a great book and very informative about all WLS procedures. he talks about pros and cons of each, talks about before, during, and after surgery as well. he also writes this with a little humor too hope that helps, piper

Thanks everyone for the information I'm going to check out the library today after I get through with therapy on my hand today I recently had Carpal tunnel surgery in both hands and I'm in therapy with the right one now still have stitches in the left one...Anyway on and on LOL. I am just visiting, but I went to the online book stores and found several books on WLS that I ordered. You might try there, and they deliver to your door.
