Howdy Tennessians!!
Yes I did, in a round about way. My best friend had to go to the dentist so I road to Knoxville with her, then we stopped and had kFC, even though I'm not to be out in it daytime between 10-4pm because of my allergies, I enjoyed just riding with her and boy did we talk. It felt good just the two of us, most of the time call waiting buzzes when we're on the phone or there's people in her home with ears. Then there are the police scanners going up the mountain, that picks up everything you say on a cordless phone. No privacy there. It got me out of the house, away from the depressing mood that was shadowing me constantly. Now I would love to just take a short nap. Later with love, Kathy
We did! My son, my grandfather and I went for a nice walk this afternoon. I'm only 1.5 weeks post op, but I was able to walk around the block (about 3/4 mile) without getting winded, tired, muscle cramps, or ready to get home. It felt soooo good to take that walk, and I think I'll walk that far each day from now on (of course adding to it as I heal).
Take care,
Ashleigh
