Weightloss
Hi I just wanted to share something with you. Since December when I found out I was diabetic, my weight was at 299. Last month when I had my blood sugar checked, I weighed in at 286. Two weeks later, it was 275, today when I went for my follow up on my sugar I weighted 272. I am not even trying, except for watching that I used onion powder instead of salt, so I'm not retaining fluids, which I also no longer have fluids retaining around my heart. Plus, I'm not baking cakes, or having sweets unless it's natural, and my diabeties is staying in the good zone around 94. I have an appointment in June at the Veterans hospital in West Virginia to see about the surgery. I also contacted Medicare regarding having my breasts and stomach done, to take the pressure off my back, and to get rid of the constant yeast infections. Medicare will cover if the plastic surgeon lets them know it's medically necessary, this would Include my hips and thighs, because the weight is tearing my back up real back. I am to have an MRI this month on my spine. The pain has gotten so bad recently, that my Dr. thinks that those two days I was in the hospital and treated for cellulitis in my thigh, maybe from a disk problem. So if I never get the gastric bypass, I can still get liposuction and tucks because of the infections and damage being done to my spine.
If anyone knows a plastic surgeon that takes Medicare or TN Medicade please let me know. I don't care if it's in Knoxville, or Nashville. My phone book for knoxville is already packed to move. Thanks friends, love Kathy the
