NEED SOME HELP

Tenn Care Select is really giving us the run around on Doctors.Any suggestions on how to handle them?

Hi, look on the back on your TNCare card, call customer service and ask for a case manager. One will be selected for you and will help you with any problems that come up. Also be sure to give your case managers name and phone number to your Dr. Don't let the insurance get you down, fight them, ask what their requirements are. It's usually 6 months of Dr. Supervised diet and weighs prior to surgery. But keep fighting for what you want. BEst of luck, and May God guide you thru your journey. Kathy

I did not have problems with Tenncare Select. You have to find out what doctor takes Tenncare Select. Kathy told you right on getting the phone number on the back of your Tenncare card and getting a case manager. They will help you find a doctor who takes Tenncare Select. You can also look at the left of this page and look at insurers and find who else had Tenncare Select. Don't give up! It is worth it! Lisa 279/170/150
