Scared to death, hoping I won't mess up my "telephone hearing"...

Flat out denied by PHP-TC, appealed and denied again by PHP and TennCare but I get this phone book size pack of papers saying I'll be having a "telephone hearing" and that I can have lawyers and such. Need less to say it'll be only me on the phone when they call, I sure hope I don't mess this up

Hi William, all I can say is keep fighting. In Jan. 2006 all insurance companies in TN have to approve of the bariatric surgery. So don't give up. You may have to wait until then, but keep fighting them anyways. Best of luck on your journey. Kathy

Well just got off the phone with the Judge and attorney and Doctor. I think I made a good case for myself, I hope the Judge heard the sincerity in my voice and I pray he'll rule in my favor. At the get go the attorney said I had no MD supervised weight loss programs and then when I said she was in error and to look over my records, she then said the 9 months I was on the program wasn't enough. At least I made her backpedle a bit there;) The MD said I was just looking for a quick fix, I told him there is nothing quick about fighting obesity since age 7. Then the doctor had the "balls" to say "dieting works, just look at the concentration camps and you'll see" and I about fell out of my chair and made sure to tell the Judge I was offended by the Holocaust reference. Anyway, I'll get something in the mail after some time once the Judge rules. Either way I'm not giving up and they have not heard the last of me
