Hi April, I live in Millington, Tn which is about an hour and half from Jackson. I used to live near Jackson in Henderson, TN. I love Jackson!! I am pre-op and my doctor is Dr. George Woodman in Memphis, Tn. I have to be on a Dr. supervised diet for 6 months before my insurance will decide if I need the surgery. Keep in touch!! Hi April, My name is Kath Allen and I live in Jackson! So, just write me for whatever I can do to help you. My surgery was Feb. 9th of this year so that puts me around 11 weeks since surgery. I've lost 62 lbs so far. Have about 120 to go.. but who's counting? I am hoping to join the support group that meets in Jackson at Union University every 3rd Sat. I think they will start back in May. I really need the support and wisdom from so many people. But, I'm here if you need and I can help. My surgery was done in Nashville, Tn., with Dr Douglas Olsen at Centennial Woman's Hospital. Wonderful Place! Wonderful people, nurses and Dr.s!!! I have to make time and write my profile soon and thank all those people who sent up prayers. Hey...that's my hometown.....I was born and raised in Jackson Tn... currently live in Houston TC...post-op 5 weeks.......Jackson doese have a support Group? I will be home in June for my niece graduation...would like to come If you all starts back..... also jackson now has a surgeon that does hastric bypass surgery......She from Atlanta Ga....relocated to Jackson in Januray.........2005....If you need the Info.......I willl try to post it....... 246/219/130
