INSURANCE

I RECENTLY WENT TO A DR. HADI AT VANDERBILT FOR A HEALTH EVAULATION. HE INSTRUCTED ME TO HAVE MY PCP ORDER SEVERAL TEST. ALL THE TEST , AS FAR AS I KNOW, ARE COVERED EXCEPT ONE. HAS ANYBODY GONE THRU VANDY AND HAVE BCBS NETWORK S AND HAD THIS PROBLEM. I THINK I AM SHOT DOWN EVEN BEFORE I GET STARTED.

Now Kip, don't start talking about being shot down before you even get started. I would just have to come pounce on you. I have been shot down a lot, and I'm still trying to find a surgeon to do my surgery. What test doesn't you insurance cover? Always think positive. Some people have fought with their insurance for 2-3 years before they had their surgery, so there is always hope. No one says you have to have the tests done at Vandy. I didn't go through Vandy nor did I have BCBS NETWORK S however I did have BlueCare. My surgeon also had my PCP order the tests for me to have pre surgery. She gave me a list of what she wanted and I told my PCP. Luckily all of mine were covered. I think the surgeons have the PCP's order the tests because that is a doctor that has seen you on a regular basis. Im not sure. *huggles* it will get better. I fought to have this done for a year and some here have had to go longer than that. Just hang in there.
