INSURANCE AND LACK OF PATIENCE
JANNELLA, I HAVEN'T HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS YET. I STILL HAVE TO SEE THE DOCTOR FOR APPROVAL TO SEE IF I AM A GOOD CANDIATE. WHAT I HAVE READ HERE ON THIS SITE IT SEEMS TO VARY SO MUCH. SOME GET IT THE FIRST GO ROUND SOME DON'T. I HAVE BCBS POS OR WHAT USED TO BE CALLED SELECT. THEY SAY THEY COVER IF YOU MEET THEIR REQUIRMENTS. GOOD LUCK. MAYBE YOU'LL BE ONE OF THE ONES WHO GETS FIRST APPROVAL. KIP
Janella...Hi, my name is Karen and I also live in Cookeville. Have I seen you at the meetings at the hospital ? I would like to wish you luck on your waiting game with the insurance company. I know everything will turn out good for you. I for one was approved in two weeks time. But then other people were denied right off the bat. So you just never know. Good luck and keep your head up, things will work out fine.

Just hang in there , patience and more patience are the keys. you are welcome to read through my profile for I went through with TNBCBS. If you get denied just remember that next to patience , persistance is the second key. Yes some of us did get denied at the start. BCBS has a PCP diet requirement that they are pretty rigid about. I know they wanted 5 years for me but I was able to get around that with my medical records. Ihave fonud that the greatest thing they are looking at are yoru doctors letters . they need to be very specific. I finally had to write my own for my doctor. Its on my profile so feel free to use anything you can find there. Some others also have good letters on their profiles , just keep searching and you will find one that works for you. I am hoping that it goes smoothly for you but we all understand that the waiting is the hardest part. I will keep you in my prayers and if I can do anything to help just holler.
