Dawn Boltin

Everyone please say a prayer for Dawn. She should be in surgery as we speak. I talked with her via e-mail on Saturday and she was very nervous, which I understand is common. She is having surgery with Dr. Hodge at Johnson City Medical Center. I live close by and will check on her as the day goes and will give an update this evening. Thank you for your prayers. I'm in Johnson City and would like to meet some of the local people who have had the surgery - especially if they had the DS. Which type of surgery did you have? I know that Dawn must be having the Fobi since she is doing it in JC.

Hey Susan, actually I haven't had the surgery yet. I am just now applying for approval with insurance. I will be having surgery with Dr. Hodge. They tell me it will be about four weeks from now. I don't know exactly what type I will have. I think he said "distal". Dawn said she is having distal as well. I was hoping to get an update on her this evening but wasn't able to. My prayers will be with Dawn during this time. I just had my surgery in JC with Dr. Watson on the 7th of Feb.

IM sure she has come through her surgery as I am just reading this on Thursday...I live in Bristol and had my surgery (lap RNY) on 7/2/04 by DR Watson and am down 100lbs. I have been a memeber on this OH site for a long while and just discovered the TN board I post on a diff board. But would like to meet other people in this area that have had the surgery. Rebecca
