Back home again

Hey Everyone, I haven't been on the board because I ended up back in the hospital after my surgery. I had to have two units of blood and then I found out that I had contacted a staph infection while I was in the hospital with my surgery. I spent another week in the hospital and now I am at home on medications for the infection. I have lost 30 lbs already, but the medicine for the staph infection makes me sick and I know I am not eating as properly as I should. I hope how soon I can stop taking it, because it is the nastiest stuff I ever put in my mouth. I have tried to disguise the taste in applesauce and jello salad, but it is just too bitter. I hope to get past this soon. Keep me in your prayers. Thanks

Hi Debbie, I am so sorry to hear that you have had some major problems. That's my biggest fear is the staph infection, I get it every year. I do hope you start feeling better real soon, I will keep you in my prayers. Love Kathy
