Surgery Tomorrow...HELP

My surgery is tomorrow the 22nd. I wanted to know from those of you post-op out there the things you were greatful to have with you at the hospital. I am packing and am afraid I will forget something. Have slippers, robe, comfy clothes, toothbrush and paste. Beyond that, what is helpful... thanks in advance!! Meryl

Magazines are helpful. I took a book, but could not concentrate because of the pain meds. You will need shampoo, deodorant, hairbrush, and something to keep your hair back if you have long hair. Hope this helps and congratulations.

Hi Meryl. I realize you are already at the hospital, but if someone gets this message, have them bring up a small fan. It helps drown out the hall noises, and may help to cool the room if you get hot. May God BE with you today and always, may HE be with you thru your surgery and recovery. Always, Kathy
