Officially a Big Loser

Hey everyone, I won't go into a lot of detail, but I had my surgery on the 7th and got out of the hospital on the 11th. I am now officially a "Loser" and so glad to be on this side. I had some problems, but it wasn't from the surgery. It was the anesthesia. You can read my profile for all the detail, but I just wanted to let everyone know how much I appreciated all the thoughts and prayers for my surgery.

Hi Miss Offiically, I am so proud of you for hanging in there and not letting anyone change your mind. I am sorry to hear you had a rough time after surgery. Find out what they gave you to put you asleep, and if there is another time for surgery ask that they don't use that particular drug. I always ask for the white twilight. It's one I have never had any problems with. They (the Dr.'s and dentists) will only use that one on me. I've been given it with kidney stones. You continue to get well and have a speedier recovery. congrats on being a loser now debbie, i have been thinking about you for the last week or so and i was wondering how u was doing, so glad to hear thay you are out and that you are ok. i have said several prayers for you. i hope if everything goes well to become a loser in about fifteen days.keep me posted on how u are doing

Hey Derrick, I will continue to pray that your surgery goes as scheduled and you have a safe a speedy recovery. The surgery was not all that bad for me. I am having trouble getting all of my liquids and protein in because I just don't want anything. And I don't like the taste of the protein I have. But I am trying. My left side is still really sore, but I am hoping that will get better when they take my drainage tube out this Thursday. I can't turn to the left or bend over. And I am having trouble with the head hunger. I have wanted everything I have seen on the TV even if it was something I didn't like before. I think once I get past this liquid only stage, I will do better.Good Luck and stay in touch.

Oh. My. Gosh. Congrats! Congrats! I've been wondering how you were doing. I was going to e-mail you but I kinda figured you were still recoverying. Anyhow, I'm so happy to hear your doing okay. Have you gotten weight yet? That's always the fun part! Keep us updated! Hugs, Katie
