I'm new...

Hello, everyone. I'm Sarah, 21, and from Clarksville. I am in the process of trying to get the lap band. I have a meeting with my PCP on Tuesday for the letter. I'm hoping everything goes well. Anyone here had lap band done? Or know of any other sites I can go to for more information & inspiration? Thanks. Sarah

Sarah, I live in Ft. Campbell! I am 27 and just had the Open RNY on December 14, 2004 with Dr. Steely. Who is your surgeon? What kind of insurance do you have? Just to warn you, if you have Tricare they do not approve the lap band. I didn't realize that until I went in for a consultation with my doctor.
