What about insurance

I called BCBS and they do cover under my plan but I can't seem to find a doctor that is in there list......Is there any doctors in Nashville that are on BCBS POS . Thanks kip

Most bariatric doctors are not in network. More than likely you'll have to pay a portion of the bill, but your hospital stay will be covered.

I know it's probably a little further than you want to go but my dr in clarksville takes bcbs and her name is lindy hruska. I just met with her yesterday and I was very pleased...I had the same problem because I originally wanted to have mine done in nashville. Good Luck! Jen

Kip- I will say one thing, I would check to make sure the hospital stay is covered...I thought that mine was and it wasn't!! I have to pay $1300 and I have BCBS. So I would call and ask them, I'd hate for you to think its covered if its not. I have my surgery in May and am saving up the money. Hope that you will look into it...My doctor is in Mississippi...so not sure about any in TN...good luck... ~April~ Surgery scheduled for May 13, 2005
