Question

I have not been to the OB/GYN in years, because i was to embrassed about my weight. I think it is time i go again. Do anyone know know any WLS knowledgeable doctors in or near Chattanooga? Thank you. robin

I was going to a CNM for my annual exams in Chattanooga, Sarah Smith. She is absolutely awesome I started seeing her about 3 yrs ago. She also was a very large woman. In Nov 2003 she had Lap RNY. When I told her that I was going to have WLS she was very excited for me. She has never been rude or made comments about my weight. She was always very nice to me when I went to her. They also would forgo weighing me before I had surgery because my weight was higher than the scale went. The whole office was very nice to me. Hope this helps. *huggles*

Can you tell me what CNM stands for. I am not from here, just moved here 2 years ago. I am not very familar with the area so i guess that would explain why i dont know what it means. Is she still in practice, can you give me her number? Do you know how long it takes to get an appointment?
