I saw the nutrionist this morning. She only sees people on an appointment basis. You must be referred to by your Dr. I know some of you have had to pay $250 for one session, this one at Lakeway Hospital only charges $25.00. She also gave me a break down according to my weight, heigth, on how many calories I need to maintain my weight. Since I don't want to maintain this weight, she has me on 1800 calories and that will allow me to lose 2.7 pounds a week. So if you are on a 6 month diet prior to surgery, that willl give you some idea how much you need to eat a week. This is based on my 5'3" 283 pound bode.
