I really love to no of any body, who can tell me more about john deere. dr watson is my surgeon 423-477-4213

Hi Daren, I had it and switched. But I do know that 2 were denied right off the bat, then approved. It is customary for a denial letter to be sent out immediately. Then you receive your approval after that. Good luck and never give up. May God Bless you on your Journey, Kathy

Hi Darren, Dr. Watson is my surgeon as well. I work for the state and have John Deere POS insurance. I completed my six month diet requirement and submitted 27 pages of documentation. The "state" also had some requirements and they requested more documentation. However, before my appeal was ever processed, John Deere sent me an approval letter. I called them everyday, so I guess they got tired of hearing from me. LOL I got all of my medical records all the way back to 1970. I got my primary care physician also to write a letter of recommendation for the surgery. I am now having my surgery on Feb. 7th. I will be glad to help you in any way possible. I know how important it is to get this journey moving along for anyone that has weight problems.

Hey Daren..John Deere Select is also my insurance. They turned me down immediately..The whole thing is/has been such a bummer..I can't even tell you how much! However, I am NOT going to give up! I have learned from folks on this message board that this sort of s*** happens all the time..I am convinced that if I stick with the appeal process, I will prevail.. My Dr.'s office (Dr. Boyce) has said that "if anyone should have sailed right through the approval process I should have".. This whole insurance deal is totally out of control.. Please don't give up! I have John Deere also. Was denied right off the bat. Had to to do 6 months dr. diet. denied again for no reason then i sent a letter the same letter I sent with my first letter and at the bottom of the letter below my name. I put CC: my attorney's name ( Attorney at Law). My was approved 10 minutes later. I had surgery on 1-12-05 and have lost 32 lbs do not give up that is what they want.
