lapband info needed

I just had a lapband done on Dec 17,04 and I was wanting to hear from others that are post op lapband to see how your doing and to know what to expect. I am having hickups alot and burping after I eat is this normal or am I doing something wrong. Thank you

Hi Mariea, I had lapband surgery on the 29th of Nov.and i am doing great now.I lost 12lbs the first 2 weeks and nothing since.I go for my first fill on the 12th of Jan. The first couple of weeks are the hardest,but it does get better.I don't know about the hickups have not had them but a lot of burping and gas,and more gas.You are very normal. Eva

I had my surgery last thursday and have alot of gas. I think i have lost 10 lbs since 2 weeks preop. I hope I havent stretched my band by eating regular food. Why do you think you stopped losing? are you eating as normal? I cant imagine eating as normal.

I don't know if I have loss any I am scared to weigh I don't know I guess I am just being silly but when you spend your whole life staying away from scales well we all know how it is. I have not eat excatly the way I am suppose to I have eat a little reg foods but I chewed them until there was nothing left and it was only in really small portions and I rarely done it I hope like you I have done something wrong. I don't have alot of pain but I do have some after I eat. Let me know what you think. Thanks for all your input
