Motivation for exercise and lack of energy

Hey all! I am two weeks out and in desperate need of knowing how y'all motivate yourself to exercise. I just get soooo tired and wiped out when I try to exercise. My hubby is being great and trying to encourage me in his own way, but it gets frustrating. I seem to have no energy. Yesterday I tried to take a shower and was wiped out before I could even soap up. How long is this going to last? I go back to work in 2 weeks and am afraid I will not have the energy. Please help as this is frustrating and I get weepy about it. Thanks, Susan

Susan, I'm 10 weeks post-op tommorow and I still find myself getting tired easily. I started taking b12 tablets about a month ago but can't say I've seen too much difference. I was like you about exercise at first. The hubby would try and get me to walk but I got bored with it, so I started going to Curves at 3 weeks post-op. I had to work up to doing all the rotations they considered doable in 30 minutes, but it was easier than walking because i enjoyed it. I also lost 19lbs and 18.5 inches the first month I was there, and that was a good motivator. Good luck and hope you get to feeling better soon. Kelly
