IT's been a while...

I know its been a while since my last post but a lot has been going on. First the good news I've been doing well since my WLS and am down to 270 lbs also I have finally graduated college with my AAS in Legal Assisting. Now for the bad news. The last time I posted I was just about to have a LEEP procedure done for abnormal cervical cells. Well I had that done and they did remove precancerous cells. I was supposed to go in for another pap in Dec. to make sure they removed all the cells however, my insurance dropped me about a week after I had the LEEP done. Now the only way I can get it back is for me to go to the health dept have them examine me and if I have abnormal cells again then I will get my insurance back again. Also Ive had to cancel my surgeon and nurologist appts since I lost my insurance. The people I had my CPAP through came and got it. So hopefully I can get a job now with a decent insurance plan or possibly have an abnormal pap ( which I really don't want, but I need insurance ) That's pretty much whats been going on with me. Just thought Id give ya'll an update. *huggles*

Great job on the weight loss! I am sorry to hear about the abnormal pap and the insurance problem. I will keep you in my prayers that it will all work out. God has a plan for all of us. We just have to figure it out, whatever that may be. Thank you for being my angel! You were great. I have lost 68 lbs altogether(18 preop). I hope to be under 200 by Feb. We're losing our insurance too, in February. I have been checking out insurance plans and MAN can they get expensive. But one guy in Nashville found me a good family plan for less than 300.00/month that covers all the kids need. It sucks tho, when "they" say we make too much $ to keep the insurance and we're trying to figure out where all this so-called money goes, lol. Good luck to you in the new year, you look wonderful!! Hi Dixie, it's been awhile for both of us. I lost my internet for the month of December as my computer was acting up. So I am really behind. I thrilled for your weight loss, but am sorry to hear about the abnormal pap cells. Do what ever it takes to get that cleared up. Keep us posted. Still a pre-op. Had to do most of the tests over again as I'm having it done out of state. Hopefully the last two reports will come in this week and I can mail out the paperwork. I felt a real high when I graduated from College with my A.A.S degree in Office management. I know you are feeling that two. Just getting that far is a major step in life. Keep up the great work.
