Fill Doctor Needed In Tennessee

I had lap band surgery Nov 16th in Mexico. My insurance would not cover the surgery and I had to pay cash. Now I'm looking to find a doctor locally to do my fills (adjustments). My primary care physician referred me to Dr Ponce (I live in Chattanooga). His office emailed me that Dr Ponce would not do my surgery because I used Dr Joya in Mexico. Anybody know a doctor that will do fills for lap band surgeries done out of the country. I don't mind traveling up to 4 hours for Chattanooga. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Clay, I wonder if any of the other Dr's in Chattanooga would do your adjustments ? May want to see if Dr. Rose would. There are about 6 different Dr's assocaited with the weight mgmt program at Memorial including Dr Ponce and Dr. Rose... just a thought....

If you don't have any luck there you might try The Centennial Center in Nashville. They do lap band now.I am having my RNY with Dr.Olsen.

Doctor Steven Boyce does the fill . Knoxville Tn CALL Premier Surgical Group on Park West Blv. Knoxville Tn. They should be able to help you. About 1.30 minutes from you. I use to live in Ooltewah. Hope this Helps. Todd
