Have any of you had surgery at Johnson City Medical Center?

I have an appointment with Dr. Hodges and Dr. Watson this month and was wondering if there where anyone out there that had them as their surgeon. Thanks, Marsha

I had surgery lap gastic bypass by Dr. Watson on Nov 15th. I came home from the hospital on Nov 18th. I am doing great. I go back on Dec 28th. In my opinon, he is a very good doctor. He explains everything to you and makes sure you are aware of the procedure and after care. He also does the LapBand. virginia

Even though I live in Johnson City, I chose to go to Nashville to Dr. Husted's office because I wanted to have the duodenal switch instead of the procedures that Dr. Watson does. I felt it was a much better procedure for the long haul and that the 5 hour drive just wasn't that big a deal. I have been very happy that I made that choice, and I wish Dr. Watson would consider adding that type of surgery to his practice. Have you looked into having the switch?
