Update of the parents

Hi everyone, please please pray for them. Dad isn't doing so good, he's still in ICU, today they had him sitting up in a chair for 2 hours without and pain meds and he is in so much pain. They removed half of his left lung, cancer. In Dec. they will decide if he goes on chemo or radiation. Back in October the spot on his lung was barely an inch. The bone scan showed it a week later as 3", what they removed is the size of a softball. They are hoping they got it all but not sure as it was growing too fast. Even air when they did surgery could cause it to spread more. On Monday they are doing another ct scan to make sure. Dad and mom are scared. He's even had her call his siblings. Our Paster flew in last nite from a conference in NC to see dad today and to have prayer with him. He's being flooded with cards, letters, and prayers. If you want to just send him a card to wish him well, or just to let him know you are praying for him you can send it in care of this address. Kathy, sorry to hear about your father. You will be in my prayers and your father too. I lost my father to cancer so I can understand. I do not remember much though. Keep faith that God will take care of him and you. Lisa

Mom called just a few minutes ago. Dad was to sit in a chair for two hours and it ended up being closer to 4 hours. They moved him into a private room, visitors are limited still to family and Our Pastor. He's still on the critical list, but hoping with all the prayers going around, that he will see God is with him. Thank you all for being here for me and my family. With tears of love, Kathy

I want to thank each and every viewer, and every email I have received. Dad has his ups and down's and still not feeling up to much yet nor have they had him up and walking yet. When I talk with mom tomorrow, I will pass on all the prayers and well wishes from Tn to her. Thank you so much. You have been so supportive for my family at this time.
