TLC MEDICAID SURGEON INFO and update!!!!
YAY! I love this site.I was tripping because I couldn't find a surgeon around here that did lap band or that accpeted TLC,I was surfing through the site,and low and behold I checked this bandster's profile and she had the exact same insurance as me,and had already had the Lap Band surgery,so I got the surgeon's name and number and called them,they sill do Lap Band and they still accept TLC MEDICAID,for any of you with this insurance or just looking for a surgeon his name is George S.M. Cowan,JR. M.D. at 901-448-6635. Address 920 Madison Suite 926 Memphis,Tn. 38103.The Methodist Weight Management Center and the Midsouth Center for Minimal Invasive Surgery.For those of you with TLC Mdicaid,they told me all I need from my PCP is a PCP Supprt Letter and 3 years of my medical history.They also said you did not need a referral from your PCP if you have TLC Medicaid.You will also need a list of the diets you have tried but they do not have to be detailed desriptions,just a list of the ones you have tried.They are now scheduling me an appointment.It took me forver to find someone on here with my exact insurance and a surgeon around here that done it,so I thought I would share this,maybe it can help someone like it did me.I honestly believe if it weren't for this site I would have never found a surgeon because my PCP and insurace company was not in a big hurry to help me on this matter.SO thanks so all of you ((((HUGZZZ)))).This is an awesome site and I would reccommend it to anyone.Thanks again.
