Kathy, As hard as it is sometimes, just remember that things happen for a reason. I have to believe that if that many surgeon's have rejected your request for surgery--there has to be a medical reason. Surgeon's are willing to take risk----every single thing that they do has risk associated with it, but they are not going to take risk on a patient that they feel they can not successfully perform a procedure on. To do so would be to risk the life of the patient and would put the surgeon at huge risk for liability suits. Realizing you may want the surgery badly enough that you would not persue claims should something go wrong, remember that you family could do so in the event of a fatal outcome. Maybe if you wait a little while and your conditions improve, then you may find a surgeon that would be comfortable with and willing to do the surgery for you. I know you have to be frustrated with this situation and hopefully all will work out for the best for you---Good Luck.
