I HAVE A DATE....FINALLY!!!!!!!

Hey everybody I will be having Lap Band surgery with Dr Jaime Ponce in Dalton Georgia on October 15th. I am so excited. We have refinanced our house so I can have surgery. I just wanted to let me fellow Tennesseans know. Thanks for being here. Nicky

Hi Nicky, Congrads on getting a date. Is your Dr. worried about the drive distance in case of an emergency? Every Dr. that I have checked out are worried about that very thing. Best of luck on your journey to becoming a loser. Kathy

Nicky You have by far (in my opinion) the BEST surgeon. I have done so much research. He doesn't even do the other WLS. The Doc the I am going to !!/4 does all the wls types, but is new to lap band. Jamie Ponce trained he & his partner and will be here (johnson City) to proctor my surgery. I am so excited for you. I am so anxious. I have to wait about 2 weeks longer than u so keep me posted please, By the way I also checked with Dr. Hruska who is local to you......Evidently you did too??? Suzan

Suzan, Thanks, I believe so too. I did check Dr Hruska, the fees for her and the hospital were a lot more and they had less experience. So Dr.Ponce was the best choice (for me) as far as I was concerned. That's great they will be there for your surgery too. Be sure to keep me updated and I will let you know how everything goes when I get back. Did you also check with Hruska? Nicky
