Sorry guess I need to elaborate a bit,lol.I am Going to have surgery in memphis tennessee.I am in the process of applying for the lap band surgery.Again I have TLC MEDICAID.Thanks again for any and all info.God Bless

Hi Wendy. I wish you luck on finding someone who'll accept TLC medicaid. The fastest way to find one is to make some calls and ask the surgeons office. There are several excellent options in Memphis that come highly recommended through several different hospitals. There's Dr. Maddan, UT Medical (901-448-6635); Dr. McGrath-Weaver, St. Francis (901-765-3040) and Dr. Woodman, Baptist/Methodist.

Yes,I have found a surgeon and they do cover the Lap Band if it is deemed medically neccessary.My surgeon's name is Dr.robert wallace in Memphis.haven't been to see him yet..my doc is setting up an appointment and getting my referral together.Wish me luck.Talked to insurance and they said if the surgeon gives the go ahead,I am just as good as approved,so keep your fingers crossed for me!!Thanks you guys

I've never heard of that physician....what hospital does he work out of???
