Hey, paperwork in the mail
Hi everyone, 
I just mailed out the packet of paperwork that was sent to me from Dr. Oxley's office, plus my Dr.'s letters, GI lab report. The only thing else to send is for my PCP to fax his letter, and for my sleep apnea Dr. to fax his letter and the lab results. It should arrive in Franklin about Tuesday or Wednesday. 
Once the Dr. has reviewed this, it will be sent on to my insurance companies. Once he has the approval, then he will set up an appointment for me to come in for my pre-op appointment, my labs, registration at the Hospital, and see the nutrionist all in one day. 
There is no waiting list, so I won't have to wait forever. They aren't worried about my insurance, as I have Medicare/Blue Care. I even had Medicare send me their guidelines regarding coverage for obesity surgery. Now I have done my end, just have to wait until I go to his seminar on Sept. 20. I am not patient at waiting, the more I have to wait now, the more anxiety sets in.

Thanks Lisa, let's hope not on the anxiety. Otherwise, my shrink will be called on a daily basis. LOL. I see her and my pyschologist next week. Plus another ct scan on my pelvic and abdomin so lets make sure that all goes right. I'm just conscentrating on my new grandchild being born in October instead of the surgery, that way hopefully the nerves won't be so bad.
Honey you are going to do just fine, I know it. I'm just praying that this Dr. will take me on and do the surgery.
