Hi Fred, welcome to Tn, where are you moving from? Never been to your new city, never had reason to go there, but I do know you aren't going to be too far from me. Best of luck with your move, and locating A Doctor in your area. Hugs, Kathy

Hello Kathy Moving from Groton, Conn (southeast corner of state). Started vacationing in Tennessee about 10 years ago, my wife and I both fell in love. Can't wait to start my retirement there. Fred

Fred ~ Has long as you love coffee at the local gas statioin/grocery/whatever they call them here and a few hours bull ****ting with the boys about whatever. I'm sure you'll love it! LOL! Oh wait... Lets not forget about the taking garbage to the dump and running in to a new buddy! Haha... First time, your wife will think ya fell in or something! My dad's retired too - So I've learned about this whole process! I often wonder what its about standing in a parking lot talking to strangers. Oh well - gets him out of our hair for awhile! LOL! Enjoy your move here! Hope it all goes well! One more thing - you better start learning the sounther slang! Ya'll is one of the most important words! -Katie

Katie My daughter lived in Montgomery AL for 5 yrs, when she came home we needed an interpreter. I love that twang and she is going to help me practice. Parking lots (especially Wal-Mart) the dump, local pub(cold beer makes ya talk smarter) and the fishing pond. All great conversations and ideas have to start somewhere. TY Fred
