I am very close and will be making an appt with Hodges in the next week and a half or so and if you decide to go see watson, maybe we can schedule for same day and time and go together if you would like, could be fun.. anyways just a thought.. Dawn, Thanks for the information on Dr Watson/Hodges. Greg and I have discussed appealing CIGNA denial to approve Dr Boyce as the surgeon to do mine. I am going to try appealing and then change to another doctor,only after exhausting other possiblities. I just really feel better letting Dr Boyce do the surgery,since I have so many health problems and my other doctors are in Knoxville as well. But maybe we can meet sometime and chat about our progress. Do you ever attend any of the local WLS support group meetings? I like attending the one at Knoxville Center Mall. Hugs, Lori

HI Lori, Good luck in your appeal.. I know it would be a real blessing to stay in Knoxville, so I wish the best with that!! As far as support group meetings, I have been wanting to attend one however my husbands vehicle died a while back and hes using mine now for work.. he does not get home until 6pm or after these days..alot of overtime hours..but EVENTUALLY hope to make it to one.. from all I have heard the one you like is the one I am going to try to get to, as I have heard nothing negative about it.
