Intracorp. DENIED me. Of course i gotta go throught this crap! I need a history of failed diet attemps for the past 6 months or 26 weeks. What the freak ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know i am not the only one having to deal with this but it just so dad jim aggravating.......So now the topper. I had called my dr office (pcp) 3 weeks ago asking for this information. well lets just say ONCE AGAIN I am at someone elses mercy...The nurse doesent have any idea when the letter will be ready....
I am just so mad about all of this...

Hey Michelle,
I know exactly how you are feeling. I keep telling them I haven't lost it in 49 years, I won't lose it in six months. However, it didn't do me any good to argue with them. I am just having to sit tight until Feb. when my six months of "dieting" is over. By then, hopefully, the doctors will know what is going on with my blood count and everything will be a big go for me. I wish you the best of luck in dealing with both the insurance and the dr's office. Maybe the next time we have to go see Dr. Watson, we will know each other from our pictures. (Hopefully, there will be some empty chairs the next time we go.)
Awwww, Michelle, i'm so sorry you're having to go through the insurance hassles. So many people have to go through the very same things, you're not alone in that. I know that doesnt make it less aggrevating and stressful. Just keep on your doc's office and ride their butts until your letter is ready. It only takes a few minutes for the doc to dictate a letter, but usually a day or two for dictation to return from transcription. You'll be in my prayers sweetie! Hang in there! God bless!!!

That all sucks but as for the doctor & waiting for the letter, once again let me say again, working for a surgeon myself, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Girl I know you don't want to be a pain, but I would call them every 2 days until they get the letter done. I know in our office when a patient starts calling we get the crap done just to shut them up. So do NOT wait another 3 weeks before you call them, CALL THEM!!!!!! Also, when you get the letter make sure it says everything you need it to say & if it doesn't make sure you let them know.
Keep your chin up, it will work out for you.

I understand how you feel... I waited over 2 weeks waiting for my pcp to send off records, I finally got mad enough that I went in and stood at the window while the recept faxed every document she had to my insurance company and I didn't leave till I had confirmation that it was sent.
Best of Luck to you.... Hodges is doing my surgery on Aug 5
