Watch out for the strep throat

I don't know if it's a special, super-strong Tennessee variety or what.   I caught strep throat from my grandson, who gave it to my daughter, who gave it to me.   They both had the normal kind, which was very unpleasant for a little while.   But the day after they started taking antibiotics, they were much better.

Not me.   I went to the doctor the morning that the sore throat started, and by the time I got there, I had shaking chills and just wanted to curl up and die.   I got the antibiotics but I didn't feel better the next day.   Matter of fact, the appointment with the doctor was last Monday and I'm just now starting to feel much better.

I suspect maybe the problem was I had flu as well as the strep - no telling.   But I'm warning you - if you are around somebody with a sore throat, especially if they also have a headache, Keep your Distance!   Save yourself!!!!
