Ron managed to pull his endotracheal tube out last night...with his tongue!  He then threw up and aspirated into his lungs.  He is back on full ventilation and having some caridac arrythmias.  On the good side, his white blood cell is staring to move down and his cardiac enzymes are normal. You have no idea how much I appreciate all of you.  Nancy is on her way up her now, bringing some of her own vitamins.   My friend Cindy has called twice a day of course because she is my dearest and oldest friend but also to remind me to get my protein.  Beth and Wendy and Phil have called and numerous ones of you have PM'd me.  It means SO much to me.  I really need it when I am feeling very alone at 3am.  My sister is here, my nephew is on his way from Ft Benning.  Erin is on her way home.  My brother will be back Monday.  So, I have family support.  I know they have lives and families though, and they have to get back to them, so I know that I have to buck up and get prepared for this in the long haul.  Please, please, please, continue to pray, it is the MOST important thing that can be done.

Ron and you are in my prayers, too.   I've been away from the boards with a similar family crisis, so I hadn't heard about this before.   Please be sure to get enough rest, protein and fluids in you.   You know how easy it is for soemone to get sick when they have someone in hospital.
