Another member mentioned on her post on the Main Forumn she was having trouble with leg pain. Well this morning I woke up with what felt like a charlie horse in my right calf. Some people said it could be a blood clot others said dehydration. Right now I don`t  kmow what  to think. Anyone else had this problem?

I think you should call your surgeon right away. Hopefully it isn't a clot but you don't want to fool around with it anyway. Call now to be safe. It isn't worth the risk to wait.

I get cramps when my potasium (sp) gets low and I usually just eat part of a banana and that helps after a couple of days, but I done that before surgery as well. But with you fresh out surgery and to ease your mind, I too would just give the doctor a call. Keep a eye on the color of your legs, feet, toes and make sure they don't turn dark and or blue. You might try elevating your leg to see if that gives you any comfort. Hope you feel better soon.

I hope it is nothing, maybe dehydration from not getting
enough water. PLEASE let us know asap.

The surgeons office is open 24/7. Different doctors are on call. I called when I had my leg pain and I was sent to the ER. They has to do an ultrasound on my legs to make for there were no blood clots. Thank God there were none but as a precaution I would go.
