Home from a night in the hospital
Well, it doesn't look like my DH has kept everyone posted on what has been going on with me......I guess I will have to fire him.........lol
The last thing that I had to eat that stayed down was this pass Saturday night. I tried to fix things on my own, Sunday and Monday, well that didn't work. I called the doc and they had me come in on Tues, they took some fluid out of my band and I thought I was good to go, the water that I drank in the office seemed to be fine and when I got home the first bottle of water I had was fine. But after that, here I go again, nothing was staying down. So I go back into the doc yesterday afternoon and he completely deflates me and I tried to drink water and nope, even with my band totally open it still would not go down. So after pondering on a few ideas, he decided to admit me to Baptist. They get me in there, do a chest and stomach xray and it looked like the band might be a little out of place, but not bad. They decide to do the wonderful upper gi so that they can see me swallow. Well that showed that my band was just about perfect. So there was no slip or anything going on with that.......huge relieve. It seem's that I just had some type of virus/bug and/or maybe some of my meds and with all the throwing up that I had done since Saturday, just had me in a mess. I was able to keep fluids down this afternoon and I am now home and feeling much better than the past few days.
I have lost 30 pounds since May 7th......not a good thing. I will not get another fill until the 1st of July, he wants to give my band a rest and I am fine with that, I am just going to be extra careful until then and make darn sure that I don't gain those 30 pounds back.
I hope everyone is having a great day and getting ready for a big holiday weekend.

Nancy,
Thanks, I do feel so much better. I am on liquids for one more day and then I can add soft foods. I was very frustrated with it all, but thanks to my doctor he has gotten me straighten out yet again.
When you talk/see Marilyn, please tell her that we are thinking of her. I have been through this with Phil, and it is very scary. We have them both on our prayer list.
