HOW'S ....SONYA

Has anyone heard anything from Sonya?

You read my mind. I just logged in to check and ask if no update.

I just talked to Sonya.  She got out of surgery around 3 pm.  Everything went well...  she said that they have not got her up yet for her walk, but the nurses were in the middle of shift change.  WELL... she didn't say ALL that!  LOL.  I just reworded cause she's a little groggy!

Thank you Mel, she has been on my mind alot today.
I'm just glad to know you talked to her and she is out.

I had asked her the other day if she had anyone to give us a report... but she never answered.  I am going to see her tomorrow.  I figured she probably would not want a visitor that she's never met before coming to see her at her worst! lol.    so when I saw your post, I just took it upon myself to give her a buzz....  

I just got back from visiting Sonya.  She was alert, doing well but was a little nauseous and the nurse was on her way to give some medication.  She said tell you all that she is doing great...  and that yes she was in some pain when she woke up but it seems to have subsided now.  She's walked 3 times now. 

As an icebreaker, I brought her a gift:  A BOTTLE OF WATER! lol.

I talked to Sonya a few hrs ago.I missed her call this morning and called her back.She seems to be doing fine.She has been able to get in some liguids and jello today.The nurse was comming to walk her around again before we hung up the phone.

Thank you so much for the updates, I am guessing that maybe she will be coming home today?
