i buy mine at the Vitamin Shoppe...They sell them individually so you can try all the flavors (they're all yummy!!!) and they sell them buy the box, too...you can order online and i've found them to be very competitive in pricing. Plus, with V.S., you earn points for your purchases and in january of the new year they send you a fatty coupon....

I love PowerCrunch!! They are my absolute fave hands down. if you don't have V.S., check them out online.

Be happy.

Amy, which Power Crunch flavor did you choose on Saturday?  I never really did see who got what....

But, they came from Vitamin Shoppe.  Believe it or not, if you watch their sale table, sometimes they will clearance BOXES of them...  a box is approx 17.99 and sometimes you can get them for 12.99, 14.99 just depending....

I've also been known to email a protein bar company and ask for samples!  And, I usually get them!  Hey, worth a try! Right?

Thank you both!!!  I have been on the Vitamine Shoppe website already and Power Crunches are on sale right now!!!!   But the flavor I got Wild Berry, was not on the site, but some of their other flavors sounded just a yummy.

I know where to go now, and I can keep an eye out for sales!!

I also picked up the Hazel Nut chips, which were yummy but a bit too dry for me to eat alone.  I loved the flavor, so I crunched them up on a salad and topped it with SF Rasberry Vinegarette (YUM, from Kroger!)

Amy, just wanted to let you and everyone else know...  if you order from Kay's Naturals, use promo code RECOVER and you will receive 20% off.  That is an "all time" discount, something that I have asked Kay's to do for my blog readers.  Hey, every little bit of savings helps!

Yes, I have to say thanks to Mel, too!  I got the triple chocolate PowerCrunch bar and can't wait to drive to Franklin/Cool Springs to go to the Vitamin Shoppe.

That chocolate bar was INCREDIBLE!!!  I probably shouldn't have one every day, but I'm thinking maybe 2-3x a week to keep me from feeling deprived of chocolate.  Mmmm.  I can't wait to try some other flavors, then maybe I'll invest in some boxes.

I'm annoyed that there's not a V.Shoppe closer than Cool Springs because I've been wanting to get down there for days!!!  I might be able to do it tonight on the way home, I hope.  These bars will be a great snack to have when on the road with the dogs.  Keep me from wandering into fast food joints because it's satisfying AND has lots of protein!

I also tried the soy & flaxseed tortilla chips from Trader Joe's that Mel suggested and they are great too!  6g of protein per serving (130 calories) and they have a tortilla chip taste with nutty undertones.  YUM.  I finally had to put the bag in the pantry so I couldn't see it.  Otherwise I'd be tempted to pick at them.  Fortunately, only 5 more days in Bandster Hell until I get my first fill!!!  Then maybe some of the hunger pangs will go away and I won't be so ravenous all the time.

I just wanna say thanks to all the people who share WLS tips and snacks!  I'd have never known about the PowerCrunch bars if Mel hadn't been so kind as to share!  THANK YOU!!!

Denise

You are more than welcome.  I have received lots of help, and I just pass it on.  Like the old scripture says, there is nothing new under the sun... Just forwarded on...

Also, the chocolate PC bars did come from the company.  That was one I received in the mail for free as samples.  Sometimes, if you like a product, find them on the net.  Email them, let them know how much you enjoyed it, and ask if they have any that they can send you.  It never hurts.  The worst they can say is NO, and I've only had a few who have.

The wild berry pc's were on sale at VS in Rivergate.  So were the French Vanilla Creams.  I spy out a sale, and grab 'em up! lol
