This is going to happen rain or shine............lol. The shelter is covered so even if it does rain, we should be fine. I "plan" on having balloons to help people find it a little easier. Don't forget we will have Walk from Obesity cookbooks there for sale and registration forms for the Walk also. This is open to everyone, young/old, surgery/or not, doesn't matter which hospital/doctor/surgery, it just plain doesn't matter....lol

we haven't figured out what we're bringing yet.  In fact, we are still sitting in the airport in Florida.  I will tell you what we are not bringing:

WAAAAAAH!!!    I wanna half pound cooooookie!!!!

That is one of those things that sounds good in theory, but in actual practice, not so much.  So I'm kinda glad there will be none of these there tomorrow.  Whew.

Denise, that's what I thought, I'D LIKE TO HAVE A HALF POUND COOKIE PLEASE!  However, I don't want to weigh a half pound more, so I think I will have to pass...  LOL

Cheryl, I am going to bring some chicken tenderloins in the crockpot with italian dressing.

I am also bringing the lemon mousse we discussed, however I might just leave off the crust as I dont want to mess with it tonight, PLUS some folks don't want or need the crust anyhow.

I don't know if I will have time for the banana choc chip bread... I have got to go through my "stash" and see what I can drag out  for drawings!

What time would you like us to be there?

Who else is coming?

Melinda,

We have the shelter from 6am-3pm, so you need to be there at 6:30am..........lol. I think most people will be getting there between noonish and 1:00. It is not going to be as many as I would like, but we are still going to have a blast. Amy and Conner (it's his BD on Sunday), Tina, Denise, Beth, Scott, RJ,You,Tim,Phil,Me, and I think the newbie that posted might make it and her kids, if so we all will need to be on our best behavior and not scare them off..................HEHE. She just had the LapBand  a couple of weeks ago. I'm hope there are others that will show up and surprise us.

See ya tomorrow,
Cheryl

Whatever ya'll decide will be fine. Funny you should mention the cookies, I picked up a very small box at WM tonight, just in case there were kiddos there that might not like our stuff..........LOL. FYI for everyone, if they are not eaten at the picnic, they are going home with someone......lol

I am going to bring a lemon mousse.  It will be in a graham cracker pie shell which I will make myself so it will have splenda and not sugar.  I am not going to be the food police, so if you all aren't at a stage where you can have graham cracker crust, just scrape out  the lemon filling and eat it, cause ITS GOOD!

I MAY bring my brand new love...  banana chocolate chip protein bread.

I don't know if I want to bring some tiny hamburgers or some crockpot chicken. Let me think on that, or see what others are bringing.  I like grilled hamburgers at a picnic, and maybe, just maybe I can talk tim into doing them at home the night before, itsy tiny teeny ones...  (cuz he does not want to tote a grill over!  I already asked.  Answer was 'NO')

Oh yeah, and I am bringing some prizes so we can have drawings...  labrada, kay's naturals, gosh I don't know. Whatever I might pull out of my cabinet in there)
