It is like our part of TN rebounded today...
This afternoon though was AMAZING.. the sun came out, the wind stopped blowing and we went for a walk. We talked about the birds singing, the flowers blooming, the animals that lived in the woods and on and on and on... it was just a magical afternoon with my little guy in the sunshine!
Before I knew it we were at the 1/2 mile mark, and I realized, I was not even winded, in fact if I had Connor in the stroller I'd walked further, but since he was walking too, we stopped and enjoyed the calves playing in the field. Then we walked back home.
So while there was no hopping today, I worked on the challenge by enjoying the weather with my best guy! Now that the GRE is behind me, and the fill in front of me on Thursday, I'm still hopping along, the last couple of days I've skipped writing down a few meals. I'll get back on track with that, and I've skipped a couple of my calcium pills, my life has just been consumed with worry for the GRE. But it is behind me... and I realized when the sun came out... that this too shall pass, it will either work out that this will be the last time I have to take it, or I will take it again.
Ok, I've rambled on, and I'm not sure I've said a great deal... but I do hope everyone else had the sun pop out for them today, and that you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Have a Blessed Easter!

How is everyone else doing on their challenge?
Hello Ms. 70-pounds lost!! Wow! You are doing an amazing job!!
And...I love your mommy stories.....we also enjoyed the sunshine today....my oldest is riding her bike w/out training wheels (this is a new thing this year...last year she broke her arm in gymnastics, so we didn't ride a bunch....this year...daddy just took them off & away she went....she is growing up so fast!!!).....and my 3 year old is handling the Dora bike (w/training wheels) just great...she's able to get it going & steer well---so, I was outside watching them ride & ride & ride....it was so much fun. And, my 2 year old (oh my goodness...my baby just turned two!!) is such a boy....and such a little man....all he does all day is say, "Mama...where's Dada?" Then I say, "In the house" or "Over there" or "Right behind you" and then Trey says, "Oh"....and then the same loop of questions again & again & again.....so, finally, today I just started making up answers like "Dada is in the tree" and "Dada is on the roof" and it cracked Trey up so much that he was just cackling!! So fun!!!! Love those kiddos.
I am doing pretty good on my challenge...although I have NO idea what number I was at when we started...I will have to research the posts...lol....
Well, we are set to have a beautiful & blessed Easter tomorrow, free from rain, so the efforts in M'Boro to clean up can continue.....I saw a picture on the news tonight of the mom & baby (and dad) we have been praying for....so much life ahead of them....I hope she is holding her baby in Heaven right now & had a chance to teach that little one all about "the birds singing, the flowers blooming, the animals that lived in the woods and on and on and on...".....
Nobody should have to go through that.....ug...chokes me up.
I hope the Easter bunny visits your house tomorrow & Connor get a great big Easter basket....I just make up the baskets for the kids (okay...holding the jelly beans was really tough.....sweets were my weak point!).....and am excited to hear them wake up to them beside their beds tomorrow!!!
xo, Micheala.
I know you did good on your test. I wish you the best with that.
It was great to see you at the meeting on Wednesday, I really LOVE that meeting. Anyone that does not go to a monthly support group really should, they are fantastic.
Well I better go...Trying to get ready to go for a ride on the bike (I know I should be on a pedaling bike but I really LOVE my Harley).
Y'all have a great day today.
