A little vent session lol

Ok is it just me or are the protein shakers just a pain in the rear ???   I got a new shaker and some protein from Vitamin Shoppe the other day and the shaker tops are always so hard to get on right it seems. I think I have it on tight and good and here I go just a shakin away and protein goes everywhere !!! How frustrating !!! Lol   I have tried different shakers but have the same problem with them all... I have given up and just  gone back to mixing my shakes in the blender and using a regular cup. Looks like they would make the shakers a little easier to use ya think....     Lol    Oh well just needed to vent a little.. Hope your all doing well.   : )

LOL!!!  I tried a few different shakers before surgery, during pre-op diet, and they were definately more trouble than they were worth!  I figured it was something I was doing, so I went back to the blender and the shakers went to the Goodwill.  I hope they found a happy home!

Hey Amy..  I'm glad to know it's not just me was thinking maybe it was a user defect  lolololol  but yea I agree the shakers are more trouble than they are worth or the ones I have tried so far..  Hope you have a good day !! : )

 My biggest gripe is that they don't wash themselves after use and I have to do it!  

I like my blender bottles (got them from Amazon and the lids are PURPLE!), but I'm in constant fear they're gonna splatter everywhere.  So far, so good, but I'm sure there's always a first.  Should that happen, I'll just let the dogs clean up the mess!

I have found them to be great to use at work.  I'm sure if I showed up to work with a blender (already have a dorm fridge and toaster oven), my boss'd make me bring in a cot and just start living there!

 That's the main reason I got a shaker for those mornings when I'm running late and dont have time for the blender ,could just have protein in my shaker and mix at work...  yea easier said than done..    I just have no luck getting the top to tighten the way it should..  Go figure..  lolol

Vent away girlfriend!

I hate shaker bottles!  I usually mix mine with my handy dandy immersion blender!  It comes with a drink mixer attachment.  I usually ix things up before I leave home.  That way when I get to work, all it takes is a little shaking up, and protein goodness happens!

Juanita, have you got a Blender Bottle?  I LOVE THEM!  But you must make sure the lid is tight, and the spout is pushed down all the way.  The thing is, if you take the lid off after shaking it once, you just need to wipe it down before putting it back on...  because what actually leaks out is where it has dribbled down on the lid...  not from actual "leakage" from inside the bottle

Girl, you just come on over here if you need to try a Blender Bottle.  I even have one with your name on it, tall or short, and whatever color lid you want.  Just let me know. Besides, you haven't seen my new house yet!

Nope havent tried the blender bottle..    the one i have has a screw on top and a spout that covers the mouth piece  my problem is getting the lid to go on  even the first time   arrrgghhhh!  Would love to see your new place and catch up with you has been a while.. Hope everything is going great for you..
