Yeah, we are under tornado warning right now (5:35 p.m.) down here in North Alabamy.  2  tornadoes have been spotted about 6 to 8 miles southwest of our neighborhood and are moving slowly to the NE - projected to go right over us!! News just reported a mobile home destroyed, a barn destroyed, and trees down in several areas around us.  Getting pretty hairy down here!  Local news just now reported another tornado just touched down south of the Tennessee River (15 miles south of us) and is on the ground and just hit a mobile home park to the west of the Whitesburg Bridge. Reporting that there are injuries and entrapments in the mobile home park.  We're getting some very heavy rain and some hail right now - getting pretty hairy down here!!

Well, we made it through the first round OK here in Meridianville.  Local news reported 3 or 4 tornadoes in Madison (Huntsville), Limestone and Marshall counties. We got a DOWNPOUR of rain, strong lightning,  some hail, and some strong straight-line winds out of it. Several tree limbs broken off in the neighborhood, flooding of the streets and drainage ditches, and stuff blown everywhere. Still raining, but the wind has let up a bit.

Local news crawler reporting more strong thunderstorms to our southwest in Mississippi and headed our way. We may get some more tornadic activity in the next few hours.  Be glad when this is over!!

Will be glad when it is over for you as well!  We have had LOTS of rain and some wind, but the weather says we could have more later tonight as well.   I hate storms at night!  I like to be able to see what is coming!

You hang tight, no trips to OZ tonight!!!!
