PROCESSING???????
You could give them a call back, ask again, and when they say "processing", just ask, "What does that mean? I called and was told it was pending for 27 days." I don't know exactly, but probably what has happened is that they allow 27 days for their examiners to get to the file and make a decision... and to put the patient on hold, they tell you 27 days... but as soon as someone inside the ins co touches it and begins work, it probably then moves from pending to processing... But you might want to just give them a call.... and I know you probably won't want to call them... let me say, you need to call them every day if necessary. Sometimes knowing that you are persevering and want this a lot goes a long way. I called my ins 40 plus times within 30 days... some times, once in the morning, once in the afternoon.... I say call. That's what they get paid to do - help people - customer service....
I called them back to ask and the next customer service person said I was still pending. I told her well they have told me pending for 27 days and finally this morning TWICE by 2 seperate people I was told I was in processing, whats going on there? She told me she didnt know all sheknow is it says pending. UGHHHHHHH!!!!!! I am so confused. Blue Care is going to be the death of me.
I talked to a customer service agent just a few minutes ago and she said to call back in the morning because they promised me earlier today they would have a decision. So she said the system hasnt updated but I should know something in the morning. Karen, they have about broke me down. I dont know what to think or do. With them on my case its like lets see how slow we can go. So as soon as I hear something I will let everyone know I just pray that it is an approval.
