For what its worth

I dont post here often anymore simple due to LOTS of stuff going on here at home and at my workplace, I just dont have the time. HOWEVER, I do read alot here, and other WLS boards I belong to. I would just like to make a statement that I think would apply here as well as another board I belonged to....I say "belonged" since they had to shut down the board as of today. WHy did they shut ti down you may ask? Because of people stirring **** up and making mountains out of mole hills and causing DRAMA. Yep, good old internet DRAMA...and I hate DRAMA. I have enough of it in my life, I shouldnt have to worry about it online too. Be it here at OH Tn board, or teh WLS board I was a member of with my surgeons office, NO ONE NEEDS OR WANTS THE DRAMA SO STOP CAUSING IT.  Ya know the old saying "if you cant say something nice, dont say anything at all"? Well it still applies to us today as adults....so if you see someone post something YOU personally dont agree with or you have a problem with...just bite your tongue and find a post you DO like and DO agree with. Dont post nasty comments on a PUBLIC board about it and start DRAMA. I see crap on here and other boards all the friggin time that DRIVE me insane, really get under my skin and just down right **** me off, but I dont say anything. Why? Because I dont go to SUPPORT groups for DRAMA. They have Soap Operas for that stuff for crying out loud.

Maybe I shouldnt have posted this here, but I think applies to EVERY support group message board....its for SUPPORT ....not drama, not belittliing, not high school crap. We dont need it and we dont want it.  So just keep that in mind the next time you see something on here that ****** you off and you want to reply to it PUBLICALLY....think of all the drama it might cause, hurt feelings it might cause...and remember what these boards are for...S U P P O R T!

P.S. This is NOT regarding something that went on here....this happened on another WLS board but i know these things happen here too from time to time, so I just thought Id post it here.

You got your facts wrong. The board wasn't closed because of differences of opinion. It was closed because some people felt compelled to continually slam the office staff and the hospital staff. The negativety was scaring the new people and Pat just couldn't have that. It was like a pile on with a few people focusing only on the negative and never seeing that the surgery team there is one of the best around. You can blame me all you want but all I did was stand up for the office staff. Pat and some of the others on the team were not free to explain what actually happened during these episodes where Rebecca slammed the office for referring her to a PCP for allergy meds. They had all had enough after that and closed the group. Pat and Judy were only willing to take so much abuse.

First of all Karen, I dont think I mentioned your name anywhere in my post, so the fact that you felt compelled to reply like you did says alot. Why would you just "assume" that I was even talking about you? Hmmmmm....Secondly, I find it very innappropriate for you to use the real names of people like that, I didnt and I didnt for a reason. You really should think before you post sometimes Karen.....see what I mean by people starting drama? All I did was write a post that I posted on other boards as well regarding this type of thing, not just here on OH because unfortunately I see drama like this on nearly every board I go to, and I get sick of it. But thanks for you two cents...I knew I could count on you for that.

It is obvious that you brought this to the board because I'm here and you wanted me to see this post. Why would anyone else on this board be interested in a private Johnson City Surgery Group board. I'm the only other member here from that board. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. What was the purpose of this post besides to start some drama? No one  here but you knows the who those people are. I didn't use last names. No one here cares about the other board except the people who were members. Me and you.

You clearly didnt read my post correctly Karen. I stated I had put this on OTHER BOARDS AS WELL, some that dont even relate to WLS. You really need to simmer down and just stop the BS. If I had wanted to say something aboutyou/to you I would have called you out BY NAME or, most likely, send you an email since I do have your email address. Get over yourself, damn.....this is EXACTLY what I dont want. I wont reply publically anymore to your posts Karen so knock it off.

Amen Tina!!! You said a mouth full. Karen is one of the biggest **** stirers on here. She posted awhile back and I responded truthfully to a lie of hers and she did not like it and blocked me. Well, Karen you did me a huge favor cause now I don't have to see your mug on my computer anymore THANK YOU!!!! I hope one of your other **** stiring friends tells you about my post. Oh, and by the way you have met me and I do know alittle about you Karen. So you lied to the people on the board about that too on your post about blocking me. Bottom line here is Tina is right and this board is not what it should be.  I won't be around anymore because there are a lot of liars here and people who have nothing better to do than attach others.

Thank you for the support, but dont leave the board. There are **** stirrers in every bunch, you just have to look past them I guess,but it does get old. Again, I wasnt talking about anyone in particular here, Karen is just assuming Im talking about her. Also, I didnt post this FOR **** stirriing, thats not what I want. I jsut wanted to try and remind people what these boards are for....SUPPORT....not DRAMA.

Tina, I completly got what you were saying!! I posted what I did after seeing what Karen has said. She thinks she blocked me from seeing her posts, but truth is I have my ways of still seeing every lying word she posts. I will still be lingering on the board. I just won't post much because I don't trust many people to give support instead of hate!!
