Yes!!!! GOOD LUCK!! So who will be reporting on you for us tomorrow? I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm right behind you girl!

 I will!!!  Now that I finally have my behind back in town and am in the old regular routine!

I have all her phone numbers programmed and will be "stalking" her husband in the late afternoon, as her surgery starts around 11 and she will hopefully be done by 2-ish.

She's such a character and such a vibrant gal--I know she's going to do fine and will probably have hysterically funny stories to share with us of her naked bum flashing nurses as she walks around the halls!  Then again, my bet is she'll have some kind of creative butt sarong (or bathrobe) to keep out the drafts.

As soon as I hear how she's doing, I'll let everyone know.

Edited to add--oh my, you weren't kidding when you said right behind!  Like on Thursday!  Is someone going to keep us updated on how you are doing?  Good luck and all the best on your dash to the loser's bench!

There you are...  I been missing you!!!!

 Triiiiiiiiiina!  to you too!

I've been doing lots of dog stuff and have been away from my computer for much of the last few weeks.  One more show this weekend (my puppy's first Big Girl Show), then it is nothing but WLS.

I have 20 days until the big day and only 13 days until I start the 8-day pre-op liquid diet.  The time between approval and surgery seems 10x longer than the 4 months it took me to lose the required 10% to submit to insurance.    Don't know why.  But I have my pre-op consult tomorrow plus surgeon consult, and meet with Jessica on Thursday.  So the ball is now rolling and I can whip myself up into an excited frenzy.

I'm waiting to hear from Micheala's husband right now . . . she's due to be done in the OR around 2.  I'm hesitant to call him because I don't want to disturb him if he's with her!  (I'm such a dork!)  I'll give them a little while to be together before I call and interrupt that to get the low down on how she's doing!

Then I'll blab allllll about it!

Sorry I missed the Lunch Bunch.  I am going to have to drag my sorry behind to one one of these days!!!  Gotta get my big ol' Fred Flintsone feet in one of those foot fetish shots! ; )

Well I don't have anyone that has volunteered to keep everyone posted. I've been out of the loop a little because I can only get online at work and my kids have been keeping be busy the rest of the time. I was thinking about giving isabel a call and asking her if she wanted the job. lol

Laura...I will still be in the hospital post-surgery when you have your BIG day, so I wanted to wish you luck & let cha know I will be thinking about you....what a year we are going to have!!! xo, Micheala.

Hi Everyone....Happy (early) St. Paddy's Day!!!  It's Micheala & I just wanted to say "thanks" to everyone for their well-wishes!!!  I am eagerly anticipating having my stomach chopped up tomorrow morning and hoping I don't hear a Cuisanart (chop, chop, chop) fire up as I fall off into la-la-land....

Denise has been a wonderful OH Angel & will let you all know that things went great w/my surgery--she will be in touch w/my Hubby via phone. 

You all have been an extremely steadfast & joyful source of support for me through this pre-op journey & I am looking forward to seeing you all on the other side (of anesthesia, that is!)......make room on the Looser's Bench for me!! Wooo-hooooo!!!!
