Introduction.....
Hi everyone,
I thought that now would be just as good of time as any to finally introduce myself. My name is Regina, and I've finally been approved and scheduled for surgery on April 27, 2009. I've been lurking for months now gathering a lot of info and tips and occasionally posting a congrats, happy birthday or other comment on various forums. I am so happy that my day is upcoming and I thank you all in advance for all prayers, support and advice that will prepare me for life after wls. Over the past few months I have made some friends with whom we give support to in the "backline" (i think that's the correct term ) and now I hope I can start to chat it up with you all the forums. Take care and be blessed!!

WELCOME! I am one of your West Tennessee neighbors. Glad to have you aboard. I am new to the post surgery crowd. I thought I would never get here. It will come before you know it and it is the best thing I ever did for myself. This board and others helped me to prepare myself for what was and is ahead of me.
There are some super people on the Tennessee board. You will find them ready and willing to help you. From the new (like me) to the old veterans who are always willing to share their experiences and opinions. We'll save you a seat on the losers bench!
Hi Regina,

Hi Cathy and thank you for the welcome.....I live in Memphis and would have had Dr. Weaver do my surgery but due to insurance issues, I'm traveling to Nashville. Not really bothered by it because after meeting with Dr. Dyer, I realized he was the one for me. Thanks for saving me a seat and I'll probaby see you at a local support group meeting...*smile*
