DS Surgery in TN?

Anyone have DS surgery in TN? Who did you use for your surgeon?

Dr. Boyce now performs the DS in Knoxville. They are great...865-694-9676

Welp, I contacted them and no one in the office knew anything about the procedure. They said it was relatively new, but didn't offer to take my number to get information for me and return my call. I'll try to call back sometime.

Dr. Spaw at Baptist in Nashville also does the DS. He might be closer to you than Knoxville. I don't know his number but he is at The Metabolic Surgery Center  at Baptist Hospital. I was going to use him but he doesn't take my insurance.

Our surgeons at Centennial perform DS. The number for the center is 615-342-1231.

If I recall correctly, Dr. Richards at Vanderbilt has started doing the DS, as well.

You know, Dr. Smith in Atlanta is supposed to be very good, and is probably as close as Nashville for you. He does the DS lap, from what I hear, which I know Dr. Spaw does not. Not a biggie to me, but it does matter to some.

Also, there's Dr. Husted in KY. I know he accepts self-pay. That might be further than you're willing to drive, but it is another option.

I have my DS scheduled for 2/24 with Dr. Hugh Houston at CMC in Nashville.   I believe all of the surgeon's at CMC do the DS.
