 Waaaah!  Just got home and checked the mail.  Zippo.  It'll come.  Or I'll be making a road trip with my pitchforks, torches and the Corgi Mafia!  Mwaahahaha!    Don't make me get the ninja suit.

Crap.  I guess I have to write the punchline, now.

Congrats on getting your date... I had my preop stuff yesterday and everything went real smooth and did not take too long.   

March 17th can not get here quick enough for you... 

OMGoodness...your countdown is on...SEVEN DAYS!!  Did you order bariatric-stuff for after surgery?  What did you get?  Are you going to have one "last supper" before surgery (i.e. all your favorites) or are you past all that & just ready to give up the food & move onto the next phase of your life?  xo, Micheala.

I know i can not believe it is less than a week away.   I did order all of my vitamins and protein yesterday on line and it should be in by Friday.    Dr. Houston has had me on a low carb, high lean protein (since I seen him on 01/21) I am down 34 pounds and I start my 3 days all liquid and then 2 day clear liquid diet on Thursday so no last meal for me.  I am so ready to just move on to the next phase of my life.  

No freak outs yet... but I know they have to be coming.  I have a support group meeting on Thursday so that should help.

This is really weird. My surgery is the same date by Dr Olsen. My preop appt with the dietician is the 2nd at 9. I guess we will be on the right track together. Maybe we will bump into one another along the way. Congrats!!!

OMGoodness...that is so cool!  We will be surgery twins on St. Paddy's Day!!  Now I hope Dr. Olsen and Dr. Houston both don't celebrate w/green beer prior to our surgeries...lol!!!! 

Oh my....the 2nd at 9am?? I am the 2nd at 9am for my preop, too!! I am going to look for you in the waiting room...:)....we will be there at exactly the same time....I guess they do the preops individually, right?  I have been at the office before & they have taken 3 or 4 people back at the same time & I have always wondered why....but that is prolly something else.  Anyway, if it's okay I will say "hi" in the waiting room & wish ya luck!!! We are really going to have a life-changing year!!!!!  xo, Micheala.

It sounds like both of you will be in the same class at 9 AM.  Pam Davis talks for about 45 minutes and then Pam the dietician talks for 45 minutes.    Very informative and it's cool to meet other people that will be having surgery around the same time as you.
