Waiting for the letter...

hey hey missy!  i don't know how your bcbs works but i called my surgeon when i heard that and they scheduled me.  they told me they'd mail it too but i was able to get them to schedule my surg.  do it! :)  i'm am so freaking ecstatic for you.  no more preggo lunches w/ angela. my girlfriend from hs said that at our 10 year reunion this year she'll bring me half a cheeto. :) LOL love ya missy and i'm uber stoked for you!

How are you feeling?!?!?  Loved the pix of you and mom and the bf while you were in getting the surgery!  Mmmm, cheetos.  Sorry.  Got distracted there for a minute.

I did send my dietician a note yesterday and she said she printed it and gave it to the insurance gal. So we'll see how long it takes or whether my person is a stickler or not.  I'll be bugging the daylights out of them come Monday, regardless.  I'm good with annoying that way!

We had a send off lunch for me with the ol' preggers girl today.  Actually, it's sitting like a lead brick in my gut (and I only ate half of it).  Yeah, there's a reason I feel crappy and it's from the crap I've been putting down the old hatch!

Congrats Denise. I'd stay on top of everything and make sure the ball keeps rolling. The staff at Vandy is great, but you need to let them know you're there every step of the way - you don't want to ge held up because your paperwork is sitting on someone's desk.

Dr. Williams trained under Dr. Richards and assisted him with my surgery. He's great, and is a real personable guy. He came in and checked on me after surgery a couple of times. You're in great hands with the Doc's and staff at Vandy!

 I hear ya loud and clear, B-Bob!  I tend to not want to bug people, but if I hadn't called the clinic, I wouldn't have even known they had even submitted my packet.  They were supposed to let me know when it went out.

I've worked at Vanderbilt for 18 years, so I'm quite familiar with the level of dedication the average staffer has, myself included!     I will definitely stay on top of things!

I have had one consultation with Williams and he was pretty nice.  It's good to hear favorable reviews from you and Kenny.  I also got to meet the new resident at the band support meeting the other night and was quite impressed with him, too.

It's just a matter of getting the letter and scheduling the date!  I'm very excited!

I'm sure you're right--it doesn't even seem like it's been 4 months since things got rolling. I went for my first consult on October 3rd and that seems like yesterday.

Time really does fly, especially the older I get.  YIKES!
