Waiting for the letter...

but I just called BCBS and I'M APPROVED!!!!

I would be jumping up and down for joy, but I tripped and fell on a rock on the walk to my car the other night.  So I'm bouncing in my chair, instead!

The woman from the insurance company said that the letter would be sent via mail.  I don't know if they'll contact Vandy too, or what.  I've already told Jessica B., my dietician, so I'm sure she'll spread the word.  Plus there's a band support group meeting tonight that I can bounce around at!

Now we just have to wait for the news to trickle to Bobbie W., and for her to make arrangements with the surgical schedulers to give me a call and pick a date!  Yippeeeee!!!

I'll be even more excited when I get the letter in my grubby little hand!  Then I'll probably leave it on a table, then Miz Millie will climb up there and eat it, and Bobbie Insurance will think I made it all up! DOH!  

I'm very excited and if I wasn't doing anything productive at work, I'm sure not now!  Heh heh!

p.s.  Sorry I've been lazy with the IDGOMB thread!  I was in a crabby mood last week and then Tuesday night walking to my car, I tripped and fell on a rock.  So I've been nursing a bum knee and slightly twisted ankle.  I'm giving it another few days to heal, then I'll be back on it.  Lord knows Jessica will rat on me if I put any weight on before surgery!  hee hee!  So I have to stay on top of things.

I'm doing pretty well, Denise. Still dealing with a little postop gas and a few abdominal muscle spasms. Otherwise, things are going well and I'm healing.
Please keep us posted. It is exciting to see someone get their wish.

 Ahhh, the dreaded post-op gas!  I almost look forward to it! 

I'm glad your recovery is going well.  Sometimes you hear more about the ones that don't, so it's reassuring to know when things are going right.  And I'm so glad it is for you, you really deserve it!
